What is the Bayne Foundation's Mission?
The Bayne Foundation seeks to advance the principals of liberty and improve the quality of its communities, as well as the lives of those within them, through the financial support of organizations which provide effective and compassionate solutions to human service needs, including food, shelter, clothing and education.

What are the funding priorities of the Bayne Foundation?
The Bayne Foundation provides Discretionary Grants to charitable organizations for projects within the United States of America which advance principles of liberty and charitable giving. Such charitable organizations must be non-for-profit with a valid tax exemption status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and must be classified as public charities under Sections 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Bayne Foundation does not provide financial support to religious, political, or fraternal organizations.
Grants are provided on an individual basis, at the discretion of the Bayne Foundation.

Does the Bayne Foundation make grants to individuals?
Generally, the Bayne Foundation makes Discretionary Grants to 501(c)(3) organizations.

Does the Bayne Foundation make contributions outside the Ohio and Montana regions?
The Bayne Foundation supports both local and nationwide projects and organizations.

Are grants automatically renewed?
Generally, no - receipt of funds in any given year(s) does not guarantee a promise or right to future funds.
With respect to Discretionary Grants, recipient organizations will not automatically be considered for funding based on prior receipt of a grant.
The Bayne Foundation's criteria and procedures for renewal are objective and nondiscriminatory.
